The design for the small farm-to-table restaurant was inspired the approach of its chef, the Michelin starred Merlin Labron-Johnson, who is devoted to locality, simplicity and quality.
Fine dining meets causal bistro in this intentionally simple space, embracing the rustic heritage of the building with lovingly restored exposed stone, artisanal tiles and raw plaster walls.
A pervading sense of calm is achieved through a singularity of palette. The predominantly neutral scheme is enhanced with earthy green tones in the richly veined marble cladding the simple bar along with the softly upholstered green-on-green striped banquette. The linen tablecloths and window treatments bring a sense of paired back luxury and softness to the elegantly fuss-free interior.
