Working across residential and boutique commercial projects, Frank & Faber create interiors defined not by a single style, but by a sense of warmth, personality, and quiet confidence.

Each space is layered and expressive—blending old and new, curated vintage finds, tactile materials, and bold accents of colour and pattern. The result is timeless, characterful design with a lived-in feel that’s carefully considered but never contrived.

Award winning design

Frank & Faber’s work was recognised by the British Institute of Interior Design, receiving a BIID Award for their design of the acclaimed Number One Bruton hotel.

Founded by Creative Director Sarah Ellison, prior to interior design Sarah had a successful career in brand marketing and events, moving from the music industry at Virgin Retail to The Guardian, which took her from Glastonbury to Party Conferences via The Observer Food Monthly Awards.

This experience in brand continues to influence her work, with a design approach that tells the client's story and brings their personality to life.

It was a personal home renovation project which cemented Sarah’s lifelong love of interiors and led her to pursue formal training at the renowned KLC School of Design in Chelsea.

In 2015, she founded Frank & Faber, with a vision to create considered, personality-led interiors that combine craftsmanship, character, and comfort.

Sarah leads a small, passionate team and remains closely involved in every project. From their base in East London the team work across a range of residential and boutique commercial projects throughout the UK.
